Imca Marina responds to Patty Brard’s statements at the Desk of Shownieuws. The TV diva shouted that she had called the singer, but just didn’t take her up. “Yes, I was on the operating table.”
The 84-year-old IMCA Marina was taken to the hospital with an ambulance at the end of last week, after which there were immediately strong gossip about her health situation. Shortly after the death of a number of other Dutch celebrities, they feared for the fate of the singer. However, her family immediately asked for peace and privacy.
Bell from Patty
Patty Brard did not care about that request, because he decided to call Imca for a moment, so that she could explain her hospital admission to Shownieuws in the evening. “Yes crazy, because he always records when I call her, but not today, so I’m really worried about it.”
Story boss Guido den Attrekker does understand that bell, he now says in the same Shownieuws. “Patty had already told here in Shownieuws yesterday evening that she had contacted Imca. They know each other and she just wanted to call her from: what about that?”
“It remained quiet”
IMCA’s silence was worrying, says Guido. “Then it became quiet. Of course that is always a bit anxious, if someone who is in the 80 suddenly sits on the emergency department and then you will never hear anything again.”
He continues: “IMCA normally always records. She normally always tells everything to everyone. Now there was a radio silence, so that was a bit scary.”
Operating table
Imca is now telling De Telegraaf That she didn’t record Patty because she was on the operating table. “It was a problem with my esophagus, there was a crack in it. No matter how that happened, I had to be operated on and luckily that could be done right away. Now I am on the snakes and infusions to get better again as quickly as possible.”
About Patty’s worries, she says: “Oh, how sweet of Patty. But yes, I couldn’t take it for a moment. Tell her that this old Diva is just on her legs and the plan is to keep it that way. At least five more years!”
