Just a few weeks after his commitment, Jørgen Strand Larsen (25) signed a new contract with the Wolverhampton Wanderers. The working paper is valid with an option to another season by 2030. Last season the center forward of Celta Vigo had been loaned and was transferred on the 1st July for 27 million euros by obligation to buy on a permanent basis.
Larsen was directly hit by the Wolves, in 41 games so far he contributed 16 goals and five templates. Its market value jumped by 5 million to 30 million euros, which is the world’s most glorious Norwegian behind Erling and Martin Ødegaard. According to reports, the salary was increased in the course of the new signature, but an exit clause was not part of the contract.
“I am incredibly happy here with the Wolves. To sign a new contract, shows my connection to this club. I am happy here, I love all my friends and teammates, the fans are fantastic and we just want to make it a better season than last year,” said Larsen.
