With Emil Agyekum (48.33/Berlin) there is still a German runner in the semi -finals and fights for the finals. Joshua Abuaku (49.41/Frankfurt) has already left.
Fischer-Breihol had attracted attention in June at the U23 European Championship. At that time he won gold and set up a new championship record with 48.01 seconds – and undercut the previous record of defending champion and world record holder Karsten Warholm.
