Real wins outnumbered – embarrassment for Benfica

Thanks to Kylian Mbappé, Real Madrid scored three points for the Champions League start. Benfica Lisbon failed after a tour of an outsider.
As a trainer of Real Madrid, Xabi Alonso celebrated a successful Champions League debut. Despite more than half -hour outnumber against Olympique Marseille, the “royal” prevailed 2-1 (1: 1) on the first matchday. In the end, two penalty of superstar Kylian Mbappé (29th/foul elf and 81st/trade) ensured the hard -won success.
Timothy Weah (22nd) surprisingly brought Marseille into the lead after a mistake by Real’s Arda Güler, but more was not enough for France’s runner -up. Even though the guests acted for a long time after the red card against Dani Carvajal (72./thätkeit).

Leandro Andrade (30th), Camilo Durán (48th) and Oleksij Kaschtschuk (86.) then turned the game in favor of the guests.
