The medal hunt for Molly Caudry’s medal ended again before it started.
On Monday, the pole of the World Championships in Athletics saw a hearty sight.
Medal favorites Molly caudry25, was taken from a pole in a wheelchair. Caudery’s ankle spun as British stepped into the mattress at the end of the warm -up jump.
The world of the world statistics this season immediately looked painful and burst into tears. He could not participate in the qualifying.
Caudry posted a video on Instagram about his injury.
– My heart is broken. I was so ready to return after last year’s Olympics, but I didn’t even get the opportunity. One of my ankle ligaments ripped after the third jump. I didn’t want such a end to the 2025 season, but I would stay positive and go towards 2026, Caudery wrote.

Again
Caudry won the European Championship last year and the European Championship in the hall. Monday’s injury was a big disappointment for many reasons.
First of all, British would have had realistic opportunities for the World Championship medal in Tokyo. For her higher season, only the US has jumped Amanda Moll (491). Instead, there is a Russian in the second position of the world, who does not compete in Tokyo because of the Ukrainian war.
With Caudery the same result this season has been jumped only by the reigning world champion Katie moon. There are many hard names on the side, so the medal would have been available.
What made the situation even more bitter was that the Paris Olympics went from Caudry under the bench.
In the Olympic Powder qualifier, Caudery decided to leave a height between 440 and tries directly from height 455. The British had exceeded 492 earlier in the same season, but the bar still fell three times in Paris. The Olympic trip ended without result.
On Monday, Caudry released a video on his Instagram stories that he moves with his crutches. The left foot had a huge ankle support. The season ended with Tokyo’s injury.
