Jambon on budget: “Something possible on the income side, but through the tax reduction”

The room for extra taxes is “very limited”, but the federal government can “do something on the income side”, by just reducing some taxes and thus generating extra income. That was what Minister of Finance Jan Jambon (N-VA) said on Sunday at VTM Nieuws, in the run-up to the federal budget negotiations, which Prime Minister Bart De Wever already announced as a ‘Col Buitencategen’.
