There was an explosion at a house on Obrechtlaan in Assen last night. It is not clear what has been used for explosive. Nobody was injured.
“We did trace investigation tonight and do a neighborhood investigation today,” said a police spokesperson. There is no clarity about the backgrounds of the explosion. “We call on people who have seen or heard something.”
The front door was badly damaged, and several windows were also broken. There is a lot of glass in the hall of the house.
The fire brigade also came to the Obrechtlaan, because the report was initially about a house fire. “When we arrived there, there was no more fire,” says a spokesperson for the Safety Region Drenthe. “We have removed a person from the house.”
Two cats were also taken out of the house.
