Cologne’s Jakub Kaminski equalized against VfL Wolfsburg. It was a historical goal.

Jakub Kaminski wrote Bundesliga history with a late goal. The midfielder of 1st FC Köln scored the latest goal in the highest German division in the 3: 3 (1: 1) in Wolfsburg in Wolfsburg.

In the 14th minute of stoppage time, the 23-year-old Poland managed to equalize for the Cologne-as late as never before, as the German Football League announced on her website.

Explosive: Kaminski is currently only borrowed from VfL Wolfsburg to 1st FC Köln. He thus achieved his record goal against the club, of all people, in which he is still under contract. After the game, Kaminski said: “I have respect for Wolfsburg and therefore did not cheer after the goal.”

The previous record was also to be attributed to a player of the 1st FC Köln: Marius Bülter scored in the 2022/23 season on match day 31 in the twelfth minute of stoppage time for FC Schalke 04 in the 3-2 victory against FSV Mainz 05.
