This weekend the annual flower parade takes place in Frederiksoord. This year the parade is all about freedom and attracted a lot of attention.
The parade consists of eleven permanent construction groups that pull cars decorated with large, dahlias, cars. Traditionally, the fairy car, made by a primary school from the region, traditionally drives. On the car are the prince and princess, who sware the public.
The Corso started at 1.30 pm with the KinderCorso, in which young children walk along and cycle with their own creations. In the evening the illuminated evening parade starts at 8 p.m.
