Vuelta riders physically hindered by pro-Palestinian demonstrators, promoted people taken off the road

Pro-Palestinian demonstrators have also disrupted the twentieth and penultimate stage of the Vuelta. A group of campaigners had sat on the road about 17 kilometers before the finish. The front runners and the peloton managed to continue their way by bypassing the blockade, although they were also hindered. Jonas Vingegaard drove to stage win and can no longer miss the overall victory.
