Owusu came from the amateurs from Quick Boys to Telstar in the summer of 2024. Last season he became a fixture in the team of trainer Anthony Correia, who promoted to the Eredivisie via the play-offs. Also this season he started all the games in the base. Owusu made the opening goal against PSV (0-2).
