When NH arrives on the Penta key day, Dick, Bram and Ronald are already busy. “If you turn it close now, it leaks gasoline,” explains participant Albert Net. Last weekend all teams tested their motorbikes during the test run.
“He did well for three hours and then he said: do it for yourself,” says Albert. Fortunately Dick knows what to do with the old animal. “This boy understands something, but that previous one had never seen him up close. It is hoped that they will start the race,” he laughs.

Dick has years of experience: “I sailed him for 27 years. The best things went to my wife’s team. They won 13 times.”
