Early election
Normally there are elections for the House of Representatives every four years. The last time, however, was in November 2023: almost two years ago. The fact that the Dutch can now go to the polls again is due to the fall of the Schoof cabinet at the beginning of June this year.
Parlor
The House of Representatives consists of 150 members. That are the representatives of the people who receive a seat because of the number of votes received. Their main task: control the government and make laws together with the government.
