The textile dealer AWG Mode, based in Swabian Köngen, has further enlarged its branch network. In Haßloch, the company opened its 247th location on Thursday. The next expansion steps are already planned.
In Haßloch, the retailer moved to the new Kaufland Center and now offers its range on an area of around 700 square meters, which includes textiles, sports clothing, workwear and furnishing items.
According to its own statements, the company has opened three new branches in the current year. Further new openings in Brühl and Ottobrunn are still to follow. The retailer continues to drive its space growth. “The opening of the new branches in Rhineland-Palatinate, Bavaria and Saxony are part of the company’s expansion strategy, which has the economic strength for the expansion of its branch network and is looking for additional locations in its strategic expansion area,” said AWG.
The branchist specifically relies on his “local catering concept”. “We have reorganized the company and have been economically successful for years,” said CEO Michael Hövelmann in a statement. “Our local catering concept includes a 360-degree omnic strategy, i.e. the combination between shop shops and online trade, and a good mix of manufacturer brands and own brands.”
