Prevent traffic infarction
“We do that to prevent traffic from the Hoofddorp direction via the Waterwolf tunnel on the Middenweg,” says a spokesperson for the province. If the tunnel tube would remain open, all the traffic would drive into the center of Aalsmeer after the tunnel via the Middenweg, possibly creating a traffic infarction there. “We want to prevent that.”
Royal Flora Holland reports On his website That traffic towards the auction before the Waterwolf tunnel with signs is diverted via the Fokkerweg, Bosrandweg, Legmeerdijk, Japanlaan, Machineweg, Middenweg and Lakenblekerstraat. The entrances to the auction on the Legmeerdijk are simply open.
Traffic that leaves the auction is diverted throughout the weekend via the center site of the auction and Floraweg. Freight traffic towards the auction in Rijnsburg/Naaldwijk can also use the route via Kudelstaart-Leimuiden to the A4.
