Musical star from The Sound of Music makes Rentree on a big stage: Maaike Widdershoven (56) back in the spotlights!

She had just disappeared from the spotlights of large productions, but now Maaike Widdershoven (56) is making her comeback in a traveling theater production. The star from great musicals by Joop van den Ende, such as West Side Story, Elisabeth and The Sound of Music, takes over the role of colleague and girlfriend Marleen van der Loo in the romantic Christmas comedy Christmas in The Air. “I am really looking forward to it,” says Maaike, who with her husband renovated a Brabant farm and rents out houses on his own yard.
