The Public Prosecutor’s Office confirms that there was a stabbing in the Noordhinderstraat in Zeebrugge, but will soon come up with more details. According to Mayor Dirk De Fauw, a man stabbed his neighbor in the neck there. “The woman is very ready and had to go to the hospital with the MUG-Heli. The man stayed on the spot and surrendered to the police.”
Little is known about the motive for the time being.
It is again a shock for Zeebrugge by this stabbing, but Mayor Dirk De Fauw emphasizes that it is another part of Zeebrugge: “This incident took place in a social residential area in another part of the municipality, and therefore has nothing to do with the death of Herwin recently.”
