Indonesian restaurant Saputra has moved from the Palenstein district center to Cadenzaplein in the Stadshart. On Thursday, September 11, the doors will open at the new location at 5 p.m. The previous night the editors of Indebuurt Zoetermeer visited the official opening by the ambassador of Indonesia Mayer phases, and of course to taste.

Fourth restaurant

Restaurant Saputra is now in the former building of the restaurants Soso, Sizzling Monkey and Bap Boss. The interior looks roughly the same as that of the predecessors, with a bar, a raised part with tables and chairs, an open kitchen and a small outdoor terrace.

Music, dance and good food

The official opening went in a traditional way with Indonesian music, dancers and the Selamatan; A rice meal with side dishes that is shared on special occasions. Chef Musa Wignjosaputra and his team provided the fragrant Indian dishes, such as Gado Gado, Rendang, Baked Rice and Spekkukijs.
