Mainz 05 has reached the league in the Conference League. But there could be a sensitive sanction against the FSV – the club is under observation.

FSV Mainz 05 threatens to partially close the Heimarena in the Conference League. The Bundesliga club was occupied by the UEFA for misconduct by its fans in the playoff second leg against Rosenborg Trondheim with a fine of 20,000 euros and a spectator exclusion on probation.

Before the game of the game against Trondheim, Mainz supporters had burned plenty of pyrotechnics. If a similar incident is repeated in the upcoming international encounters, the club must conclude the upper parts of the western grandstand, the sectors P, Q, R and S, the UEFA said.

The Rheinhessen compete in the league of the Conference League three times in front of a home crowd. On October 23 against Zrinjski Mostar from Bosnia-Herzegovina, on November 6th against AC Florence and on December 18 against the Turkish representative Samsunspor. The probation applies for two years.
