A motorcyclist was injured during a training on the TT Circuit in Assen. The accident happened on a long straight stretch of the circuit, where the motorcyclists can reach high speeds.
According to a spokesperson for the TT circuit, it is a very major accident and a trauma helicopter had to be involved. The victim was rushed to the hospital. Nothing is known about the cause of the accident, the police are still investigating.
