Instead there will be a light walk of 4 kilometers with stops at different locations where there will be light spectacle, coupled with a story. The ice rink and the Christmas market are moving from the Leopoldpark to Wapenplein and the vegetable market.
“Everyone knew that the Christmas market fell a bit in two or even three parts and that did not benefit the experience,” says Charlotte Verkeyn ships. “Also for the entrepreneurs: the public continued to falter or was omitted. The market vendors were also not satisfied. We are now grouping everything so that everyone can keep their place. This way we create a whole experience in Ostend.”
