An accident with three cars at the roundabout at the intersection of the N34 and N33 at Gieten caused a kilometer -long traffic jam between Zuidlaren and Gieten at the end of the afternoon.
Just before the roundabout it went wrong. Due to unknown cause, several cars from the direction Borger touched each other. The road was therefore partly closed and a traffic jam of more than five kilometers was created.
A driver has been checked in the ambulance. According to bystanders, the victim did not have to go to the hospital.
