The MT Melsungen celebrated the first win of the season in the third attempt and thus prevented the complete false start. The Bundesliga handball players of HSG Wetzlar had previously cheered.
The knot at the MT Melsungen has burst. The North Hesse, who started the season with great personnel worries and two defeats, won the first victory on Sunday. The Bartenwetzers, who had to do without seven potential regular players, won 29:26 at THSV Eisenach and thus took a big step out of the table cellar in the handball Bundesliga.
The best throwers of the MT Melsungen were Florian Drosten with eight and David Mandic with seven goals. The MT keeper Kristof Palasics and Laszlo Bartucz also performed strongly.

Wetzlar also fetches the first victory
After proper performance against the top teams Flensburg and Kiel, HSG Wetzlar also celebrated the first win of the season on Sunday. The Middle Hessian Bundesliga handball players prevailed at the previously pointless DHfK Leipzig with 25:24 and jumped ninth in the table. The HSG’s start of the season was quite successful.
The game in Leipzig was balanced for a long time, but the HSG was in the meantime with three goals. It became exciting in the last action of the game: HSG goalkeeper Anadin Suljakovic scraped a deflected free throw.
