On Saturday a 43 woman was shot in the Brusselsstraat, close to the Kursaal of Ostend. She got a bullet in the heart region and died on the spot. Witnesses saw a man flee in a taxi. He would have dropped him off at Bruges station.
The investigation is ongoing, but there is still no arrest. Two witnesses were taken today for questioning. “In the meantime, one witness was allowed to have. The second witness is currently being interrogated by the police,” the public prosecutor says around 4.45 pm.
