The Berlin glasses provider MyKita strengthens its presence in Southeast Asia. On Monday, the company announced the opening of its second and so far largest store in the Thai capital Bangkok.
MyKita chose the Centralworld shopping center as the location. In the future, the brand will offer corrections and sunglasses as well as “limited collaborations” and optical services. According to the company, the minimalist interior of the shop was designed by the in -house architectural team.
Moritz Krüger, the founder and creative director of the brand, paid tribute to the reopening. “Almost 20 years after MyKita was first presented in Thailand, it is a privilege to open a second MyKita store in Bangkok together with our long-time partners,” he said in a statement. “This moment reflects the close connection with our loyal local community, which shares our values of craftsmanship and attention to detail.”
