The Popfm radio channel that started in the spring will be a new confirmation this week as Juuso Karikuusi, who has become known on YouTube, jumps as the presenter of the channel.
Karikuusi hosts the canal evening broadcasts from Wednesday. In addition, he has his own slot on weekends.
– In the past, I didn’t get tense at all. I thought it would go. But now it has become such that there is still listening to the crowd, Karikuusi says.
Fresh wash is a completely new conquest of the area. Karikuusi is known on YouTube for its Herbalist channel. He made videos on the platform for 17 years, professionally for almost 11 years.
Early in the year, YouTube was behind. At that time, Karikuu thought that it would be left empty for a moment. In January and February, he would focus on other things, going to the gym, and so on. At the same time, he would map what he would like to do in life.
– I wanted to make an accurate interim statement of what I want to do here, says Karikuusi.
Early in the year, Kariku was approached for a new project. A new radio channel would be set up in Finland, which did not even have a name at that point.
After the contact, Karikuusi was training for the first time in the radio. He had no previous background on the radio.
Karikuusi received positive feedback from his presentation right from the first workouts.
“It surprised itself when there was no experience or papers in the field of how it naturally comes,” says Karikuusi.

Clearer boundaries
Karikuen was supposed to be involved since the establishment of POPFM. However, the obstacle was made by Karikuus’s Japan trip, which he had previously reserved.
Now, however, is the time to jump into a new one and debut on radio waves. The new washed Karikuusi thinks he has benefited from his previous work. From the social media content production to Karikuusen, the skill of tartar narration, and he has learned from TV productions to understand the second-hand second on the radio.
The new Pesti also responds to many things that Karikuus had longed for from his future work. As a positive thing, he sees, for example, the schedules that are different about making YouTube and some.
– Now I am not responsible for everything. Schedules come partly from the outside and there are certain times when to be done, Karikuui describes.
In the past, Karikuusi has suffered from work exhaustion precisely because he could not set limits.
“Now it’s very easy because they are certain hours,” Karikuusi rejoices.
As a positive thing, Karikuus also sees that there is a work community around.
– It’s not so lonely, even if the radio is done alone. It’s fun to talk to the guys, hear all the stories and share your own. It’s fun to do.
Karikuus is excited about its future washing, but one thing is exciting. The swear words would have to be eliminated from the spies.
– On YouTube and elsewhere I was able to censor it a little. It has given myself but cursed like a sailor in different situations. Now we have to think a little about how crazy, Karikuusi laughs.
Karikuus even has a solution to their problem. Spies may become a substitute for swear words familiar to those who have grown up on the Internet in the 21st century.
