Next to him in the fourth row is his manager Fernando Alonso in the Aston Martin. Yuki Tsunoda starts ninth in the second Red Bull. For Lewis Hamilton, the race begins today after a punishment from the Zandvoort weekend. Verpappen from the pole
Yesterday’s qualifying in Monza ensures a highly exciting starting point in today’s race. Max Verstappen secured the pole position with a new round record and prevailed by only 77 thousandths against Lando Norris in the McLaren. Oscar Piatri shares the second series of starting with Charles Leclerc. The start of the course of the race should be of crucial importance: keeping the leadership, he has the best cards. Since he himself does not pursue ambitions in the title fight, he can uncompromisingly drive to victory, while Norris and Piatri always have to weigh the risk against the valuable championship points.
