The ceremony for the president of Fifa took place this morning in the “Battaglia” room of Palazzo San Giorgio: “This is my father’s city. If I am here today, I owe it to him and to this beautiful land”
The president of Fifa Gianni Infantino since yesterday has been located in Reggio Calabria and this morning in the “Battaglia” room of Palazzo San Giorgio he received honorary citizenship from the mayor Giuseppe Falcomatà. “The promise is to always be a reggino -stresses Infantino -, to be close to the city and this beautiful land, to do what I can. By living here maybe one does not realize, but when I went out this morning, I saw this sea and this spectacular promenade: a unique thing that the world and not only Italy deserves to know. I want to give my contribution so that Reggio Calabria will become a world capital”.
