Everyone thought that Lewis Hamilton would arrive in Monza on a Ferrari, or the brand for which he runs in F1. Instead, the British, seven times world champion, showed up at the Brianza circuit riding a Ducati. The model is likely to be a panigale V4. Borgo Panigale’s bike certainly did not go unnoticed also because of the livery that recalled the Italian tricolor. In short, from the “red” par excellence of the circus to the most famous one in MotoGP and Superbike. The choice initially displaced fans. However, Hamilton soon was surrounded and submerged by requests for photos and autographs. As surprising as an initiative, this is not the first time in which Lewis openly shows the passion for two motorized wheels.

In fact, the former king of F1 has collaborated in the past with MV Agusta. A profitable partnership, from which three models were born, all in a limited edition. The first of these is the MV Agusta Dragster RR LH44. The bike was born in 2015 following the indications of Hamilton himself. This model, equipped with a power of 140 HP, was produced in 244 specimens. In 2017 it was the turn of the MV Agusta F4 RC LH44. The bike, of which only 44 units were made, could count on 212 HP. A year later the MV Agusta Brutale 800 LH44 arrived. In turn, characterized by a power equal to 140 HP, it was produced in only 144 specimens.

It is not the first time that Hamilton arrives in the paddock F1 with a motorcycle. In Montecarlo he had already presented himself riding several cars, among which, in recent years, the “his” MV Agusta stood out. A tradition maintained during the current season: between one session and another on the streets of the Principality of Monaco, the British showed off a Red MV Agusta F4, granting the fans a burnout, or the acceleration that, as a detention, smokes the rear wheel. In addition, in Canada and Belgium, Hamilton had already guessed to appreciate the Ducati products, arriving in the circuits in the saddle of an entirely red Panigale V4.
