Johan Derksen was approached by an Inside viewer today who wants to leave his inheritance to him. “Yes, a single man from Den Helder. He is incurably ill and has savings.”

If you are on television every day, then some people will see you as a friend or almost as a family. Johan Derksen also sometimes notices that effect. He was even approached by someone who wants to leave his inheritance to him. “Two years ago I am called by a single man from Den Helder, a loyal viewer of us.”

Inheritance

What did that man say? Johan tells in Today Inside: “He says,” I am incurably ill and I have some savings and as it is now my ex-wife comes to pick them up and I don’t want that, but I almost always agree with you, do you think it is good if I give up as an heir? “

“I say:” Well, rather not, because I find that embarrassing and if that leaks out, I don’t like that. I prefer that you are transferring it to a good cause. “

Not a good feeling

Johan later again had contact with the man. “But then he called again and he wanted that, but I didn’t feel good about it. I say:” give it to a good cause, “but he wanted to give it to someone he apparently looks at every night and I understand that with my charm and that charisma.”

What happened to that man in the end? “I don’t know. To be honest, I broke a bit of contact, because I didn’t want anything to do with it. I didn’t like it. He asked if I came by once to arrange things. Then you go there and then it will be a bit greedy, huh.”
