“Ladies and gentlemen, chichipios of all ages, if I lived today I would be giving streaming like crazy Tato Bores performed by artificial inestlicity.
In his X account, the user Ferdeluca broadcast a video made in AI of the emblematic Argentine humorist. In the fragment, it is observed to the great Tato, a pseudonym used by the actor Mauricio Borensztein, giving details of national political reality. In that sense, the creator of the video pointed against the figure of Cristina Kirchner.
These days, the character of Tato Bores takes the main relevance when the decision of the Federal Civil and Commercial Judge is known Alejandro Patricio Maraniello to dictate a measure of prior censorship against journalists Jorge Rial and Mauro Federico preventing the dissemination of audios linked to Karina Milei.
“The right to freedom of expression must give in to the serious repercussions that the diffusion could lead to,” the questioned magistrate determined. An argument that has the weakness that the judge himself recognizes not to be aware of the content of the audios, so it would be impossible for him to know how taxed his issuance can be.
The prohibition evokes a similar fact that occurred in the nineties, in full menemism and with the yomagate scandal at the door. In 1992, the federal judge María Servini asked to be censored part of the opening of the program “Tato de América” that the comedian was driving. The case was not only transformed into a symbol of prior censorship for journalism for the judicial decision, but also for the ingenious response of Tato Bores.
The humorist had the occurrence of issuing the program and in the parts that he had tried to be slowed by Servini put a poster: “judicial censorship.” Finally, he summoned more than 70 artists, musicians and journalists, who sang “Judge Barú Budú Buddiait is the biggest thing there is ”in the studies for an audience of millions of people who tune in the program of Channel 13. The fact became one of the most remembered moments of Argentine television.
