On Friday morning around six o’clock a fire broke out in a chalet on the Bosuil at Vakantiepark Dierenbos in Vinkel. The Geffen fire brigade immediately pulled out and received assistance from a water car from Den Bosch.
On arrival the firefighters found a lot of smoke development and there was fire in several places. The fire could be extinguished quickly, but the chalet was badly damaged.
Because there was a window open at the rear, the police take arson into account. Several police units arrived and have the case in investigation. At the time of the fire there was no one in the home.
As a precaution, gas and electricity are closed. The owner of the chalet has been informed by the police.
