Erica Meiland and her family are for incomprehensible reasons-everyone now sees that it is a trick-still a hit on SBS 6. And that works out well, because she no longer makes sense in PR-Gedu.
Without significant publicity, the new season of Chateau Meiland started again last night with excellent viewing figures: 829 thousand people watched the broadcast on SBS 6. For the Meilandjes that is a boost, because giving promotional interviews to the media is not really looking forward to it.
Suspicion of Erica
Erica Meiland says he has become very suspicious. She tells in it Ad: “We give almost no interviews anymore, because we are not satisfied with that. Things are torn out of their context or lied directly.”
“Montana is pregnant, I have a friend who is twenty years younger, Maxime is in divorce … That is all just written down. Yes, we are known from TV, but I prefer to go anonymously on the street. But that is why I no longer come to busy places, such as the city and the Ikea.”
Setbacks
The Meilandjes get a lot of negative publicity over them because of their continuous real estate rage. All for the TV, critics call. Are the TV family really going for the wind? “Like everyone else, we have had setbacks in life.”
What then? “Martiens mother died when he was 20 years old, his alcoholic father, the addiction and the death of my sister, my handicapped brother, my father’s death in 1998, Martien discovered his homosexuality in 2001, the court case against Maxime …”
And now? “We want to move first now.”
