The fashion company New York is investing millions in its Braunschweig headquarters. A renowned Hamburg architectural office will design the campus.
The new New York campus is scheduled for four to five years. Modern work and creative areas should combine functionality and design quality, promises a message on Monday. In addition to obligatory office rooms, meeting rooms and open spaces, there is also a New York outlet, a company restaurant and a new company kindergarten.
“Our draft sees itself as a walk -in sculpture – an architectural composition that not only creates functional spaces, but also creates identity. With a clear brand architecture and a powerful design language, the building itself becomes an expression of the New York brand,” said Sebastian Appl, partner at the architectural office Hadi Tehrani, in the message.
The Hamburg architects will lead the extensive cultivation and conversion of the New York headquarters. Her draft prevailed under 15 proposals submitted.
Investment in Braunschweig
For the redesign of the campus, New York is investing a higher double -digit million -day day, as a spokeswoman confirmed. The fashion dealer sees it as an investment in the city of Braunschweig and in global growth.
“It will be a place of encounter where all colleagues from the different specialist areas come closer together. Because this closeness and teamwork make up ourselves as a New Yorker,” said Managing Director Jonas Gnauck in the message.

So far, around 1,300 employees with central functions in different buildings in Braunschweig. “In terms of perspective, they should all come together in the new campus area and the number of employees there are still growing to 1,500,” said New Yorker.
When the construction work begins is not yet clear and still depends on permits. The fashion group awaits that the campus will be completed within the next four to five years.

The fashion dealer offers clothing for a young target group and operates 1300 shops in more than 45 countries.
