FC Bayern has to cope with another transfer flap a day before the change period (Monday, 8 p.m.). As, among other things, “Sky” reporter Florian Plettenberg and the French transfer expert Fabrice Hawkins report, Nicolas Jackson will no longer switch to Munich this summer. The decision was made late on Sunday evening.
The events had overturned at the weekend: The German record champions had initially reached an agreement with the Chelsea FC Chelsea. The Munichers should pay a fee of 15 million euros, the purchase option should be 65 million euros.
On Saturday afternoon, the Senegalese had flown to Munich by private jet – just to find out when he arrived that those responsible for the blues will return it. In the Premier League game of the Londoner against Fulham, newcomer Liam Delap injured himself, suddenly Jackson was needed again.

“Chelsea informed us that you would like to have the player back after we agreed yesterday,” said sports director Max Eberl. But the 24-year-old stayed with his entourage in a hotel in the Bavarian capital. “We still hope that it will work. Nicolas Jackson played 81 competitive games for Chelsea, in which he knew how to convince with 30 goals and twelve templates. With the blues he won both the UEFA Conference League and the club World Cup in the past season.
Time runs for FC Bayern
At Bayern, FC Bayern had desperately searched for a new attacker. Leroy Sané (Galatasaray) and Thomas Müller (Vancouver Whitecaps) had been drawn after expiring contracts, after which Kingsley Coman was handed over to Al Nassr.
