The stumbling Rhinelanders follow up again shortly before the end of the transfer period and sign a youngster from France.

Bayer Leverkusen has secured the services of Elisese Ben Seghir. The 20-year-old foreign striker changes from the French Champions League participant AS Monaco to Werkelf and signed a contract there until 2030, as the Bundesliga club announced.

According to information from French and German media, the transfer fee should be over 30 million euros. In addition, Monaco is secured with a resolution of ten to 15 percent.

Ben Seghir went through the French U17, U18 and U19 teams, but decided to play for the Moroccan national team in 2024.
