In Bussum, the HCAW baseball players lost the second game in the Holland Series (Best-of-Seven) with 4-1 from Neptunus. “I have to compliment the pitcher of Neptunus Sairon Martis. He has thrown a good match and at one point we had nothing against him,” said coach Gino Henson afterwards.
The starting pitcher at HCAW was Nelmerson Angela. He had to leave the field injured in the fourth inning after a ball came very hard on his hand.
With a big bump on his hand, he announced afterwards that he thinks the damage is not so bad. “I have a little pain. I will go to the doctor tomorrow and I hope to be back next week. The physio of the team thinks my hand is not broken, but we will take a photo tomorrow,” said Angela.
