The five men arrested for throwing smoke pots at RKC have been released again. The match against Almere City was briefly interrupted on Saturday because pots with yellow smoke were thrown on the field. Vitesse supporters admitted that they are behind the actions because they are angry that they have been put out of professional football.

Three men were arrested on Saturday because they may be involved in throwing the fireworks in the stadium in Waalwijk. It concerns two men from Arnhem, aged 21 and 23 and a 25-year-old man from Angerlo. Several yellow smoke pots were found in their car. Two other men, 18 and 20 years old from Gendt and Elst, were later arrested. They too had yellow smoke pots and bang fireworks in their car.

On Friday, the Young PSV – Young AZ match was also interrupted due to fireworks on the field.
