The Zandvoorste mayor David Moolenburgh and the police look back with satisfaction at the F1 parties last night. Yet the evening did not go completely flawlessdue to crowds, the Haltestraat was closed, but a man wanted to get through. A number of agents were slightly injured.

In the Haltestraat it was so busy around 10.30 pm that the organization of the racing festival decided to close the street, says the mayor. “That has led to some skirmishes with people who still wanted to go inside.” In addition, the police were successful with people who wanted to go inside. “At such a big party I find it very unfortunate that there are a few idiots who think they do that,” says Moolenburgh. “You just stay away from the police with your hands.”

No arrests were made. The police are still working with camera images who were involved in the disturbances.
