After Thursday’s draw for the Champions League, the competition program has now been announced. Ajax starts on Wednesday 17 September with a home match against Internazionale.
Afterwards Ajax successively Chelsea (UIT, October 22), Galatasaray (home, November 5), Benfica (home, November 25), FK Qarabag (Uit, December 10), Villarreal (from, January 20) and as the last home against Olympiakos on January 28.
The first 24 of the 36 teams qualify for the next phase, the first eight of which go to the eighth finals. The numbers 9 to 24 play an interim round. The last twelve teams have been eliminated.
