The promotion was claimed on social media by supporters of Vitesse as a protest against the KNVB and the withdrawal of the professional license of the Arnhem club. Vitesse supporters groups had already announced more actions on Friday. On Thursday a banner with a message was hung on the KNVB in Zeist.
After the interruptions, the match was won 1-0 by Jong PSV, which is therefore the leader in the Kitchen Champion Division as the only team with the full pound from the first four duels. Robin van Duiven made his fifth goal of the season.

The game between Young Ajax and MVV Maastricht ended in a draw (0-0). FC Dordrecht won the away match at Top Oss (0-3) after goals from Joep van der Sluijs, Joshua Pynadath and Nick Venema.
