Plot of “Joy”
Gioia is a high school teacher who has never known love, if not the oppressive one of the parents, with whom he still lives. Among the students of his school is Alessio, a boy, who uses his body as a tool to remedy a few hundred euros and help his mother, cashier in a supermarket. Between Alessio and Gioia a prohibited, fragile and inexplicably necessary bond is born for both. But the desire for a social and human redemption for Alessio is a silent poison that prevents him from being definitively conquered by the disarming sweetness of joy. Thus, it destroys everything and erases the only person who has ever loved him.
