It is now really all against one: the 30 leaders of the NATO countries are united behind Ukraine. That is the image they wanted to send to Russia by physically meeting in Brussels, says international politics professor David Cririekemans (UA). NATO sends more troops to the eastern flank, but does not supply aircraft and tanks. “That was to be expected. Much more important is what we have not seen: the informal conversations behind the scenes.”
