Residents of the municipality of Tynaarlo with a low income can get free tickets for the Flower Parade Eelde on 6 and 7 September. The municipality “thinks it is important that everyone can experience this beautiful party, even if there is less money.”
If the income does not exceed 130 percent of the social assistance standard, a residents are eligible for free tickets. As a single person, that amounts to an amount of 1,750 euros net per month, for couples that is an amount of 2,500 euros net. A ticket can be requested for every family member over 12 years old, children under 12 can already go to the parade for free.
Interested parties can send an email to the municipality of Tynaarlo. The tickets are sent to the home address.
Last year Tynaarlo gave away tickets for the flower parade to people with a low income for the first time. The actions was a consequence of making fair coins available for the Zuidlaardermarkt in 2023. Many people gratefully made use of this at the time.
The flower parade in Eelde can be followed live on TV Drenthe and on our website and app on Saturday 6 September. The broadcast starts that afternoon at 2.30 p.m.
