The Home Cave of Tappara and Ilves has undergone a complete transformation.
There is now parquet on the ice, and players are completely without protective equipment.
Something familiar here, though.
The Susijengi, who is preparing for his European Championship home competition, first trained at home on Monday. The playlist created for the team’s practice leaned heavily on Tampere because the throwing training was accompanied by a Popeda classic two-year-old.
– Feels like Tampere. It’s nice to be here, the captain Sasu Salin He smiled after the giants of Manserock had already slowed down.
Salin is the team’s age president. The 34-year-old Madrid Society Estudiantes Takamies is already preparing for the sixth European Championship in his career.
He was already in the Lithuanian tournament in 2011 as a yellow bump.
– Pretty much the same system is here. Now we have been trying to keep the preparation as a compact enough, but we have got our thing well in the miter.
– Everyone has a good feeling. This is how it can be said in advance that the preparation has gone well.
Susijeng left a lot of the Japanese World Cup played two years ago.
– Of course we want to go as far as possible and show that we can play. We have a big step in the World Cup.
– The group has grown. We have become more adults. Everyone has become better basketball players and people outside the field. Now there are more common experiences.
Finland played four training games – and won them all. At the same time, one of the possible black horses in the tournament has been baked from the team.
– Those training games can never go too well. The important thing about playing the team was that we improved certain things from one game to another. We used the intervening days nicely, head coach Lassi Tuovi quoth.
– I hope we will succeed here in Tampere as well.
Sweden against the opening game
The tournament starts on Wednesday, when the games will start in both the Nokia Arena (B-block) and the Xiaomi Arena in Riga (block A).
C and D blocks in Limassol and Katowice then start a day later.
– We have reached Tampere in time. The most important thing is to get into routines: where we eat, where we practice. After that, the race life starts to feel like a normal thing, Tuovi continued.
Susijengi starts a beloved neighbor in Sweden in the tournament match. After that, the United Kingdom, Montenegro, Lithuania and Germany will be in order.
The resistance is clearly hardening towards the end of the opening series.

– We still need to learn more during the tournament. Opponents will see our strength and we need to react quickly.
Susijeng’s Friday and Saturday matches are already sold out. Surprisingly, it would still be possible to get a seat in the opening match of the tournament.
– The first game is the most important right now. It now hits Sweden. It gives the tournament, the hall decided.
