The Lufthansa Group wants to solve its problems with a new organizational structure at the beginning of next year.
The goals of the renovation are more satisfied in all premium airlines and more profit, reports the “Handelsblatt” (Monday) on the basis of a internal letter available from the newspaper. According to the paper, Lufthansa Airlines, Swiss, Brussels Airlines and Austrian Airlines should hand over central tasks such as control of the offer, network and sales to the group, according to the “HB”. Specifically, four so-called Group Function Boards would take care of the airport hobs as well as the topics of technology, personnel and finance. They would be led by corporate board members around CEO Carsten Spohr. A company spokesman confirmed to the “HB” that work across the group was to increase efficiency and profitability.
