Hamburger SV is one of the largest clubs in Germany. In the New sticker on T-Online you will find all the important messages about the “red pants”.

After seven years in second class, Hamburger SV has returned with a draw in the Bundesliga. At Borussia Mönchengladbach, the Hanseates worked out a 0-0 on Sunday evening.

The HSV had started the duel with Gladbach research, but a conclusion of Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer (2nd minute) did not find the desired goal. In addition, despite a brave initial phase, the great chances failed to do. In the course of the first half, Gladbach then became stronger and pressed the lead. But the “foals” in the last third did not really be mandatory.

In the second round, too, the HSV remained stable on the defensive and posed problems with the Gladbach offensive, so that in the end it remained with a draw -based draw. The HSV will now invite you to the city derby against Rival FC St. Pauli (Friday, 8:30 p.m.) in the coming week – and at least it is a point in your luggage.

Head coach Merlin Polzin clarified the last personnel before Hamburger SV’s Bundesliga start. A promotion hero won the duel for the place in the goal: And so HSV with goalkeeper Daniel Heuer Fernandes has been number one in his first season in the Bundesliga in seven years. Two days before the start on Sunday with the game at Borussia Mönchengladbach, head coach Merlin Polzzin informed his decision to the 32 -year -old promotion and his challenger Daniel Peretz (25).

The trainer explains: “He gives us great security and has a lot of experience in the club.” At the same time, he praised the Bayern loan Peretz for his sporting achievements and his human qualities. “He is part of the Leadership Group,” said 34-year-old Polzin.

Heuer Fernandes had a significant part in the rise of the HSV. Last season he played 31 second division games. Most recently, he was in the goal in the DFB Cup in the DFB Cup last Saturday. Peretz had only been borrowed from Bayern Munich in the summer and is to continue to heat the competition with Heuer Fernandes.

Sebastian Schonlau switched to the Vancouver Whitecaps to the MLS after four years at HSV. In the “picture”, the central defender spoke about his transfer for the first time: “He is difficult because I have experienced a lot in Hamburg and have a lot of people in my heart. But – as things developed after the climb, it is good to do something new,” said Schonlau. It is a “good time for the farewell”.
