A 40-year-old man from Nederweert died on Friday evening in an accident on the Roderweg in Liempde.
The motorist hit the road for an unknown cause and bumped into a tree. No other traffic was involved in the accident.
A trauma helicopter was used to support the ambulance personnel, but the Limburg driver died at the scene of the accident of his injuries.
The police have started an investigation into the cause of the accident.
