Javier Bardem wrote: “The IDF [die israelischen Verteidigungsstreitkräfte] Are Nazis. ” As a reason, he referred to Steven Spielberg’s film “Schindler’s list”. There Ralph Fiennes embodies the Austrian SS officer Amon Göth, who shot prisoners for his own amusement. For Bardem, this figure symbolizes “the banality of evil and the impunity of cruelty within a repressive military apparatus”.
The video that Javier Bardem shared is indeed disturbing. From the perspective of a person who aims at a small group of people. When a person falls to the ground, the shooting cheer and celebrate for the goal.
Beware, disturbing recordings – the authenticity of the video cannot be verified independently.
“The same logic of terror”
The Oscar winner (“No Country for Old Men”, 2008) underpins his allegation with the words: “Today it is the same logic of terror and the dehumanization that the IDF use against the Palestinian people.”
Israel’s military regularly emphasizes that they are targeted against terrorist organizations such as Hamas and try to avoid civilian victims. Nevertheless, there are always reports of killed civilians from Gaza: inside.
Javier Bardem does not mention the atrocities of Hamas
In his contribution, Bardem left unmentioned that the current Gaza war was triggered by the major attack by Hamas on October 7, 2023. Around 1,200 people died in the raid in Israel, more than 250 others have delayed the perpetrators. In the past, the actor had already criticized Israel’s government and army several times for her procedure in Gaza and in the West Bank.
According to the health authority controlled by the Hamas, more than 62,000 people have been killed in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the war-numbers that are also classified as largely reliable by UN organizations.
