Fluctuating raw coffee prices cloudy outlook
Tchibo complains that fluctuating raw coffee prices spoil the view of the ongoing financial year. Raw coffee refers to green coffee beans before they are roasted. The company still expects sales growth. The result is expected to be below that of 2024.
In the summer of 2023, Tchibo had initiated strategy and structural changes: the ranges were geared towards the different sales channels branch, depot and online trade. The company focused on the coffee business.
